About this role

Our QC team is what makes our BRCGS Grade B and FSSC 22000 certifications real, not just framed certificates on the wall. As a QC Analyst at our 6th of October facility, you'll run in-process and finished-goods testing, maintain lab records, and flag non-conformances before they become problems. You'll work closely with Production and the Quality Manager to drive genuine improvement, not just tick boxes. Attention to detail isn't optional here; it's the whole job.

Responsibilities
  • Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
  • Conduct in-process line checks and visual inspections during active production runs
  • Maintain accurate, traceable laboratory records in line with BRCGS and FSSC 22000 requirements
  • Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis with the production and QA teams
  • Calibrate and maintain lab instruments according to scheduled maintenance plans
  • Support preparation for internal and third-party audits
Requirements
  • BSc in Food Science, Chemistry, or a closely related discipline
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in a food or beverage QC or QA lab
  • Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety management standards
  • Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety management standards
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and calm under audit conditions
About this role

Downtime is our biggest enemy, and you'll be one of the people fighting it. As a Maintenance Engineer at Borg El Arab, you'll handle both preventive maintenance programs and rapid fault-finding when something goes wrong mid-shift. You'll work with PLCs, pneumatic systems, and food-grade production equipment, and you'll have genuine input into how we improve equipment reliability over time. This isn't a passive role, we want engineers who want to build something better, not just keep something running.

Responsibilities
  • Execute planned preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and plant utilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic system failures quickly and safely
  • Maintain and update maintenance logs, spare parts inventory, and PM schedules
  • Coordinate closely with Production supervisors to minimise unplanned downtime
  • Support installation and commissioning of new production equipment
  • Maintain safety, GMP, and factory housekeeping standards at all times
Requirements
  • BSc in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • 2–4 years in a manufacturing or food production maintenance role
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs (Siemens or Allen-Bradley preferred)
  • Ability to read and work from electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts and respond to occasional after-hours callouts
About this role

We're looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations on one of our high-capacity juice and dairy lines at our Borg El Arab facility. You'll work closely with the plant manager, quality team, and maintenance to hit daily targets without cutting corners on safety or standards. This is a real leadership role, you'll be accountable for a team of 15–30 operators and responsible for what comes off that line. If you're the kind of person who walks onto a floor and immediately knows what needs fixing, this is for you.

Responsibilities
  • Manage shift operations across assigned production lines, ensuring targets for output, quality, and efficiency are met
  • Lead, coach, and schedule a team of production operators
  • Enforce GMP, HACCP, and BRCGS protocols on every shift
  • Coordinate with maintenance for planned and unplanned downtime, minimising disruption
  • Complete shift reports, incident logs, and handover documentation accurately and on time
  • Identify and escalate waste, non-conformances, and continuous improvement opportunities
Requirements
  • 3+ years in a food or beverage production supervisory role
  • Solid familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and food safety management systems
  • Strong Arabic communication skills; basic English for reporting and documentation
  • Ability and willingness to work rotating shifts (morning, evening, and night)
  • BSc in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
About this role

Sakr Group exports to over 70 countries, and this role is central to how we grow that footprint. As an Export Sales Executive, you'll be managing a portfolio of established distributor accounts while actively hunting for new ones. You'll travel regionally, represent Sakr at international trade events, and come back with the orders and partnerships that keep the factories running. You'll be based out of our Alexandria headquarters with close coordination with the factory, QA, and logistics teams.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of export accounts across your assigned territories
  • Identify, qualify, and onboard new distributors and trade partners
  • Attend international food trade exhibitions (Gulfood, Anuga, SIAL, and others)
  • Coordinate pricing, sample requests, and export documentation with internal teams
  • Prepare monthly territory reports, visit plans, and pipeline forecasts
  • Ensure export compliance and smooth order handover to the logistics team
Requirements
  • 2–5 years in export sales, ideally within FMCG or food manufacturing
  • Strong English; a second language (French or an Arabic dialect) is a genuine plus
  • Comfortable with frequent regional and international travel (30–40% of the role)
  • Solid grasp of incoterms, LC documentation, and export logistics basics
  • BSc in Business, Commerce, or a related field preferred
About this role

Sakr Group has seven brands and a big story to tell, and we need help telling it well. As Marketing Coordinator, you'll work directly with the Marketing Manager to execute brand campaigns, coordinate agency partners, manage social media content calendars, and develop the trade marketing assets our sales teams use every day. You'll get real ownership of projects from day one, this is not a coffee-and-errands role. It's a job for someone organised, creative, and ready to move fast in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate production of marketing collateral: packaging updates, trade sheets, social content, videos, and seasonal campaigns
  • Manage social media content calendars and assist with copy and creative briefing for brand channels
  • Liaise with design agencies, printers, and production houses to deliver on brief and on time
  • Support trade marketing activations and in-store campaign execution across key accounts
  • Track campaign performance metrics and compile monthly reports for the Marketing Manager
  • Maintain the brand asset library and enforce consistency across all customer touchpoints
Requirements
  • BSc in Marketing, Business, or Communications
  • 1–2 years in a marketing coordination or marketing assistant role (FMCG experience a plus)
  • Strong organisational skills, a sharp eye for detail, and comfort managing multiple deadlines
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and basic design tools (Canva, Adobe suite basics)
  • Good English writing skills; Arabic fluency required
About this role

Our summer internship places you inside the R&D team for 8–12 weeks, working on real projects alongside our food scientists. Strong interns are regularly considered for full-time positions after graduation.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in formulation development and lab-scale trials for new and reformulated products
  • Participate in sensory evaluation panels and document results accurately
  • Support shelf-life and stability testing programs under supervision
  • Help maintain R&D lab records and sample tracking systems
  • Prepare clear summary reports on trial outcomes for the R&D Manager
Requirements
  • Penultimate or final year of a BSc in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a closely related field
  • Genuine curiosity about food product development and industrial manufacturing
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a lab environment
  • Available for a minimum of 8 consecutive weeks, full-time
  • Egyptian nationals based in or able to relocate to Alexandria for the duration
